Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements
- Ensure meals are served on time and at appropriate temperatures
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare or institutional setting
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and food safety regulations
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare food in large quantities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
- ServSafe certification (preferred)
- Basic math skills
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
