Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Service Foreman to perform commercial low-slope roofing service and repair work in the field. This is a working foreman position, meaning the foreman will actively perform the work while leading and training a helper assigned to their service unit and van.
The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with commercial low-slope roofing systems, leak repairs, maintenance, and emergency service work. This individual must be capable of independently running service calls, maintaining professionalism with customers, and helping develop their assigned helper into a future service lead.
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial roofing service repairs and maintenance work in the field
- Lead and train an assigned helper within the service unit
- Help develop helper into a future service technician or service lead
- Diagnose roof leaks and determine proper repair solutions
- Complete repairs on commercial low-slope roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, coatings, metal roofing, and related systems
- Handle emergency leak calls and urgent service requests
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
- Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and internal staff
- Take job photos and complete service documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned service van, tools, and materials
- Identify additional repair needs and communicate findings to management
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial roofing experience required
- Strong experience in commercial low-slope roofing service and repairs required
- Ability to independently run service calls and repairs
- Knowledge of TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, coatings, metal roofing, and commercial repair procedures
- Leadership mentality with willingness to train and mentor helpers
- Ability to safely operate ladders, tools, and roofing equipment
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Strong work ethic and communication skills
- Must be dependable, organized, and self-motivated
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Must be able to pass a drug test
Compensation
Compensation will be based on overall experience, knowledge, leadership ability, and skill level within commercial low-slope roofing service work.
Starting hourly rate will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
