Non-profit agency seeking individuals with food service experience to help prepare, cook and serve hot, nutritious meals to the community.
At the Direction of the Food Services Director, the cook will prepare a variety of well-balanced meals for men, women, and children experiencing food insecurities. The cook will perform such duties as;
- Prepare and cook food items, such as main dish, vegetables, side dish and fruits.
- Clean and sanitize work and storage areas, equipment, dishes, dining area, bathrooms.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and local requirements.
- Distribute and serve food to patrons.
- Receive, weigh, log and put away food donations.
- Supervise kitchen volunteers
*Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift at least 40lbs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
