Summary
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at Stanford Dental and Orthodontics in Rocklin. In this role, you will support our dental professionals in providing exceptional patient care while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within our clinics.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate medical documentation.
- Perform X-rays as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Support pediatric patients with care and comfort during their visits.
- Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling and patient management.
- Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a dental assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures is essential.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical documentation and coding standards.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
