Job Summary:
Strategic Administration Group, a Texas Based 3rd Party Administrator is seeking applicants to joint our growing claims team where you’ll be a Remote Claims Adjuster administrating both Automotive & RV mechanical claims. In this role you will work remotely and be responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and authorizing complex to minor claims based on the level of eligible coverage. You will take inbound calls to determine coverage based on contracts to appropriately resolve policy holder’s issues. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Answering inbound calls
- Provide information about claim processing and explain the different levels of contract coverage and terms
- Accurately establish, review, and authorize claims
- Entering claim and contract information into the PCRS/PCMI Admin software system
- Purchase & process vendor parts & services
- Follow up on all field inspection publications off an inspection agency web portal
- Review and authorize mechanical repair claims for vehicle service contract and limited warranty products, handling a high volume of calls and claim submissions from repair facilities
- Verify contract coverage, confirm the diagnosis matches the repair being performed, and validate part and labor charges against industry-standard pricing
- Negotiate fair, accurate claim pricing directly with service advisors and shop owners
- Partner with parts vendors and independent inspectors to assess damage and source the most cost-effective repair path
- Document clear, detailed claim notes and reconcile repair orders, sublet bills, rental, towing, and inspection reports against the authorized claim amount
- Deliver responsive, knowledgeable customer service to dealers, agents, and contract holders throughout the claims process
A home office package will be provided for this position. This includes two computer monitors, a laptop, keyboard, and mouse, as well as hands on training at your home.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 plus years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician, or equivalent experience in a dealership or repair facility
- 3-5 plus years of experience adjusting MECHANICAL automobile or Recreational Vehicle mechanical claims in addition to to 3-5 plus years of turning wrenches
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to negotiate professionally over the phone
- Comfortable working in claims software and standard computer applications
- Familiar with Microsoft Windows
- Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- ASE / RVIA certifications a plus
- Must have a quiet designated work space to work from home
- Must be able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Must have reliable internet with at least a download speed of 50mbps (no hot spots)
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Bilingual is a plus (English & Spanish)
- Sharp attention to detail and solid organizational and record-keeping habits
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying connected to a team

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
