D & T Heating & Cooling is a family-owned HVAC company proudly serving the south and southwest suburbs of Chicago since 1978. As our company continues to grow and prepare for the future, we are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician who is looking for more than just a job.

Compensation & Benefits
● $30-$40 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities
● Diagnose, service, and repair residential heating and cooling systems
● Perform maintenance and tune-ups
● Communicate repair options clearly and professionally with homeowners
● Present maintenance agreements and system replacement recommendations when appropriate
● Maintain accurate service records and paperwork
● Represent the company professionally in customers’ homes
Qualifications
● Residential HVAC service experience required
● Installation experience is a plus
● EPA Certification preferred
● Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
● Experience discussing maintenance plans and repair options with customers
● Excellent communication and customer service skills
● Professional appearance and positive attitude
● Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
● Must pass a background check
● Must provide references from previous employers
● Must have personal HVAC hand tools
