Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences.
- Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and age-appropriate teaching to promote their development.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning and tidying up after activities.
- Assist with daily routines such as diapering, dressing, bathing, and nap times.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care.
- Administer basic first aid or CPR in case of emergencies and follow safety protocols diligently.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in settings such as babysitting, daycare, or nannying roles.
- Knowledge of child development principles for infants through preschool age.
- Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks suitable for young children.
- Strong caregiving skills with patience, compassion, and positive communication.
- Familiarity with safety procedures including CPR and first aid certification.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Ability to handle light cleaning tasks related to childcare environments effectively.
