Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Durable Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery, setup, and maintenance of durable medical equipment (DME) to ensure our clients receive the highest level of service. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a background in warehouse operations, and experience in delivery driving.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and set up durable medical equipment at client locations, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding equipment usage.
- Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle, ensuring safe handling and transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including inventory management and documentation of equipment condition.
- Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service is essential for effective communication with clients.
- Warehouse experience is preferred to understand inventory management processes.
- Experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable, particularly with route driving responsibilities.
- Familiarity with loading and unloading equipment.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
