Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Podiatric Medical Assistant to join our growing private practice. This role combines hands-on clinical support with light administrative duties. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This position requires traveling between offices. Looking for a team player who is reliable, punctual and willing to work.
Responsibilities
Clinical Duties include but not limited to:
- Greet and room patients; obtain medical histories and vital signs
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clean, organized clinical spaces
- Assist the podiatrist with in-office procedures (nail care, wound care, injections, minor surgical procedures)
- Clean and sterilize instruments according to OSHA guidelines
- Apply dressings, bandages, and assist with casting
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and treatment plans
- Manage supply inventory and restocking
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA or RMA)
- Previous experience in podiatry, orthopedics, dermatology, or surgical setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Comfortable assisting with minor procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Bilingual preferred
