TITLE: Teacher - Instructional Support General 26-27 SY (0.6 FTE)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To provide academically at-risk students reading support through intervention groups and/or individual instruction.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Arizona Elementary Teacher certification
-
Three (3) years successful classroom teaching experience

Experience in teaching content area of intervention groups
-
Reading endorsement if teaching reading intervention groups (preferred)

Math endorsement if teaching math intervention groups (preferred)
-
ESL endorsement (preferred)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide K-8 math, reading and writing support to children and teachers through supplemental groups and/or supplemental individual instruction in the classroom.

Assist with disaggregation and interpretation of assessment data to increase individual student growth and achievement.

Assist in the planning of parent involvement activities.

Perform other duties related to the implementation of the school wide plan.

Perform other duties as assigned.
