We are a Personal Chef company you would need a vehicle to drive to different locations throughout Cape Cod to assist the cooking dinner and if you are a chef, you would need a vehicle to transport the food to the jobWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the head chef in kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This position is perfect for individuals looking to advance their culinary career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and menus.
- Collaborate with the head chef in planning, including seasonal offerings and special events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Support accommodating special dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist kitchen staff and service staff fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Assist with banquet preparations and execution, ensuring timely service during events.
- Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience, providing exceptional hospitality.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with banquet operations is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Experience in bartending or beverage service is advantageous but not required.
- A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
