Job Summary
As a Handyman Lead, you will be the driving force behind helping our customers solve their repair problems. Your expertise will shine as you tackle a variety of repair and maintenance tasks, communicating projects with customers at an expert level. Your hands-on approach and problem-solving skills will be essential in creating safe, welcoming spaces for all.
What you’ll do
- Create estimates and bids in a cost-effective manor per company guidelines
- Communicate at an expert level with customers
- Drive company van to homes/businesses to perform repairs/installation
- Supervise and coordinate daily repair activities to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Perform a wide range of repairs including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, installations, remodeling, and painting
- Accept payment from customers
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Collaborate with management to develop process and communication
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance person services or a related field - 10 YEAR MINIMUM REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of home repair, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
Preferred qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' experience in maintenance field
- Current Drivers License
- Top notch customer service/communication ability
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the industry
- Ability to manage people and think outside the box
- Commercial remodel experience a plus
