Routing Coordinator
Full-Time | On-Site | Non-Exempt
Starting Pay: $18–$21 per hour
Help Keep the Operation Moving!
Are you the person who can look at a busy schedule, spot the problem before anyone else does, and figure out how to make it work?
We’re looking for a Routing Coordinator to join our team and help keep technicians, customers, schedules, and multiple branches moving in the right direction. This is a fast-paced, highly organized role where communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail really matter.
You’ll play an important role in coordinating daily operations across our branches—building efficient technician routes, managing schedules, communicating with customers and employees, and jumping in when the unexpected happens.
If you like solving problems, staying busy, and being the person everyone can count on when things get complicated, this could be the role for you.
About Braman
Braman Termite & Pest Elimination Specialists is a fourth-generation, family-owned business with more than 140 years of experience serving customers throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
We’re proud of our history—but we’re also focused on where we’re going next. We’re a growing company that values integrity, teamwork, accountability, and doing the right thing for our customers and our people.
As we continue to grow, we’re building a stronger, more collaborative organization where great people can make a real impact.
This is an opportunity to grow with a company—not just fill a seat.
What You’ll Do
Own the Schedule & Routing
- Build, maintain, and adjust technician schedules across multiple branches.
- Create efficient routes that balance technician workloads, travel time, and customer needs.
- Schedule appointments for technicians, inspectors, sales staff, and customers.
- Monitor schedules throughout the day and make adjustments when priorities change.
- Identify scheduling and routing inefficiencies and help develop better ways of doing things.
- Make sure routes are productive, balanced, and aligned with service expectations.
Keep Communication Moving
- Serve as a key communication link between technicians, branch teams, customer service, and corporate staff.
- Handle incoming calls from customers, prospective customers, and employees when needed.
- Provide accurate, timely information and make sure messages get to the right people.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and other partners as needed.
- Keep systems and documentation accurate and up to date.
Deliver Great Customer Service
- Provide professional, responsive service in every customer interaction.
- Help customers get the answers and follow-up they need, regardless of which branch they work with.
- Support inside sales activities by identifying customer needs, offering appropriate services, and recommending service updates when appropriate.
- Follow through—if you say you’ll take care of something, you make sure it gets done.
Help Us Get Better
We’re growing, and that means we’re always looking for ways to work smarter.
You’ll be expected to notice when something isn't working well, ask questions, suggest improvements, and help create more efficient processes.
We want someone who doesn't just work the process—we want someone who looks for ways to improve it.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities at once.
- A problem solver who stays calm when plans change.
- A strong communicator who can work effectively with customers, technicians, managers, and coworkers.
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
- Dependable and willing to take ownership of responsibilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without constant direction.
- Professional and solutions-focused, especially when dealing with difficult or unexpected situations.
- A team player who understands that successful operations require everyone working together.
You don't need to know everything on day one. We can teach the systems and the industry. What we can't teach is good judgment, initiative, organization, and a willingness to solve problems.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or
- 6 months–1 year of related experience; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in scheduling, dispatching, routing, customer service, logistics, or a fast-paced administrative environment is a plus.
Technology
- Comfortable using computers, email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Experience with scheduling, dispatching, routing, or CRM software is preferred.
- Able to learn new systems quickly.
Communication
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of people.
- Comfortable handling phone calls and solving problems in real time.

- Paid vacation time
- Paid sick time
- Paid holidays
- Company-paid life insurance
- Short-term and long-term disability coverage
- Employee assistance program (EAP)
- Training, development, and advancement opportunities
- Stable employment with a long-standing, family-owned company
Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and plan terms.
A Few Things You Should Know
- This is an on-site position. Remote work is not available.
- This role involves frequent computer and phone use.
- You’ll work with employees, customers, vendors, and teams across multiple locations.
- The environment can get busy—especially when schedules change, customers need help, or the unexpected happens.
- You must be comfortable sitting and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- A Massachusetts Pest Control Applicator License must be obtained and maintained (we provide the training and resources for you to achieve this!)
Why This Role Matters
Routing isn't just about putting appointments on a calendar. It's about putting the right person in the right place at the right time—and making sure the entire operation works together.
Every day, you'll be helping technicians have productive days, helping customers get the service they need, and helping our branches operate more efficiently.
If you're organized, resourceful, calm under pressure, and enjoy being the person who figures it out, we want to hear from you.
