American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Neuro Progressive Care Unit position requiring an active NC or compact RN license and 2 years of relevant experience.

Work in the Neuro Progressive Care Unit (5th floor) of a 355-bed hospital
-
Care for stable post-stroke, stable neuro surgery, telemetry, and medical patients
-
Adult and geriatric patient population
-
20-bed unit with a 5:1 patient ratio
-
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Floating required to Medical, Telemetry, and Neuro units

Uses Cerner EHR system
-
Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand

AHA certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required

Provide nursing care within a Duke Lifepoint hospital featuring a Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, and Level 3 NICU among other specialty services

Must begin assignment on one of the facility's designated 2026 orientation start dates

Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate

Local candidates residing within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any Lifepoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
-
Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
