Catholic Charities operates an individual emergency overnight shelter for men and women facing homelessness. The Cook must be prepared to make quality meals that can feed up to 50 shelter guests at St. Joseph's shelter.
The Cook is responsible for creating the weekly menu, preparing food, providing great customer service for clients, and assuring the safety and cleanliness of the kitchen.
The schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED
· Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service focus
· Courteous, professional presentation, cooperative and positive attitude when working with people of various ethnicities, languages and personality types
· Must have a valid driver’s license
