Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizza and related menu items following established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage.
- Assist with food prep tasks like chopping ingredients, assembling pizzas, and managing food supplies.
- Support cash handling duties, including cashiering and processing transactions with accuracy.
- Uphold food safety regulations and ensure all food is prepared in a safe, hygienic manner.
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about menu items, upselling products, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast-food environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to keep up with high-volume orders during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy.
- Experience working in a restaurant or café setting with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
