Savour Coffee and Creations is seeking part-time Barista
No nights or weekends.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant café team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every guest has a delightful experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and providing exceptional service to our customers.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and utensils.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or the café industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register.
- Knowledge of Toast POS is a pluss
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques.
