Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our team for 2-4 shifts per week. The ideal candidate will have a passion and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Your shift is from 3:30pm to 9pm weekdays and 3:30pm to 9:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays. This is ideal for someone who is in school or looking for a part-time job without long shifts.
Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a serving role is preferred, particularly in a restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of various beverage types can enhance your candidacy.
