Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Horizontal Form Fill and Seal (HFFS) Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting horizontal form fill and seal machinery to ensure efficient production of high-quality packaging products. Duties
- Set up, operate, and monitor horizontal form fill and seal machines to produce consistent, high-quality packaging products according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting on machinery
- Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment while adhering to materials handling protocols.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process using measurement tools and visual checks to maintain product integrity..
- Maintain detailed documentation of machine performance logs, quality reports, and safety procedures to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for process optimization and participating in troubleshooting initiatives.
Experience
- Proven factory experience working with horizontal form fill and seal equipment or similar packaging machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating or maintaining HFFS equipment
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently within an assembly line or fabrication setting.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Prior warehouse experience or working within a manufacturing facility emphasizing quality control is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues promptly while maintaining safety standards.
