American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy Lab position requiring a VA or compact RN license, ACLS certification, and strong IV skills with GI tech experience.

GI/Endoscopy Lab setting within a hospital environment
-
Patient mix is approximately 75% outpatient and 25% inpatient, with roughly 25 patients per day
-
10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, four days per week
-
40 hours per week
-
RNs take call on weekends (10-hour shifts Saturday and Sunday) and 2-hour call blocks Monday–Friday on a self-scheduled basis

On-call coverage applies to weekend and holiday coverage (1–2 times per week)

No floating required
-
EMR: Epic and EndoWorks (transitioning)

Active VA or compact RN license required

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required

Current ACLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

GI/Endoscopy tech experience required

Strong IV skills required

One week of floor orientation provided

Scrub requirement: navy blue pants with solid navy blue or solid white tops; jackets must be solid navy blue or solid white
