Duties
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and efficient workflow
- Supervise food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to maintain high standards of quality and safety
- Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Lead staff training initiatives on food safety, customer service, POS usage, and food production techniques
- Oversee cash handling procedures, register reconciliation, and financial transactions with accuracy
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling team members, delegating tasks, and ensuring coverage during busy hours
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, coaching, and performance feedback
Experience
- Proven management experience in food service or hospitality environments with a focus on quick service or fast food restaurants
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or fine dining settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams, conduct interviews, and lead staff training programs
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety compliance
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering memorable dining experiences
- Knowledge of catering, banquet service, bar operations, or hotel hospitality is a plus
