In this role, you’ll be the welcoming face of our establishment, expertly managing reservations, guiding guests to their tables, and ensuring smooth operations from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and professionalism, establishing a friendly atmosphere from the first interaction
- Manage restaurant reservation systems efficiently, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, to optimize seating arrangements and wait times
- Coordinate guest seating by maintaining organized table management and flow of service
- Answer phone inquiries with clear communication and courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations
- Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly and positively
- Support food safety standards by ensuring proper guest handling procedures are followed during service interactions
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to uphold hospitality excellence and guest satisfaction at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting, preferably within a Thai or similar cuisine environment
- Strong background in restaurant reservation management and familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor and professional phone etiquette
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining organization under pressure
- Basic math skills for managing seating counts, reservations, and billing processes using POS systems
- Knowledge of food safety practices relevant to hospitality environments
- Prior experience in food service or guest services roles that emphasize hospitality and guest relations excellence
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods during busy service hours
