Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile <PERSON> to join our dynamic construction and restoration team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in carpentry, construction estimating, and site restoration to deliver top-quality craftsmanship on a variety of projects. Your hands-on experience with framing, trim carpentry, concrete forming, and blueprint reading will be essential in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Execute a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, trim work, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, and roofing with precision and attention to detail.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately plan and execute construction projects.
- Use hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks such as metal stud framing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and flooring installation.
- Perform concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, tile laying, and masonry repairs as required for various projects.
- Conduct restoration activities including water damage remediation, mold remediation, water damage restoration, and general building repairs.
- Assist with plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems (if applicable), and fixture installation to support comprehensive project execution.
- Ensure heavy lifting safety protocols are followed during material handling and project assembly.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, materials used, and safety compliance throughout each project phase.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while adhering to safety standards.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction estimating and project planning.
- Proficiency in various carpentry disciplines including framing (wooden and metal), trim carpentry, cabinetry, door hanging, siding installation, roofing, and drywall finishing.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and schematic diagrams for accurate project execution.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), CNC machinery for fabrication tasks, and heavy equipment handling when necessary.
- Experience with concrete forming techniques and masonry work including bricklaying and rebar installation.
- Familiarity with restoration industry practices such as mold remediation, water damage restoration, plastering techniques, stucco application, caulking procedures, and water damage repair.
- Ability to perform metal stud framing and manufacturing tasks related to custom fabrication projects.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems installation or repair is a plus; electrical experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to read technical schematics accurately.
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
