Majority of our work is in the Peoria area meaning you will be home every night however opportunities will come up where we will head to different cities around Illinois and spend the work week there. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, excavators, and other construction equipment to perform site preparation, grading, lifting, and material handling.
- Safely maneuver trucks to transport materials across the construction site.
- Use mechanical knowledge to perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Support various tasks related to construction site logistics, including loading/unloading materials and operating specialized equipment as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as loaders, dozers, excavators, etc.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Valid class A (CDL) with experience driving manual transmission, ability for loading/ unloading equipment
- Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety procedures and operational best practices.
