We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Beach Attendant to join our Hospitality Team. This is a dynamic role that combines customer service and safety management in a lively beach environment. As a Beach Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing an enjoyable experience for our guests while ensuring their safety at all times. You will be responsible for monitoring beach activities, rental and maintenance of beach chairs and umbrellas, assisting with beachgoer’s needs, and maintaining a clean and secure beach area. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and safety protocols, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the outdoors, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly and effectively to any emergency situations. Responsibilities
· Monitor beach and pool areas to ensure guest safety.
· Provide first aid and CPR as needed, responding promptly to emergencies.
· Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about beach rules and local attractions.
· Set up and maintain beach equipment including umbrellas, chairs, and cabanas.
· Conduct regular water quality tests and ensure compliance with health standards.
· Enforce safety regulations and educate guests about beach safety protocols, including the Panama City Beach Flag Warning System.
· Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the beach area.
Requirements
· Valid lifeguard certification with CPR/First Aid/AED certification or able and willing to be certified.
· Strong swimming skills in pool and ocean environment
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to work in a Team-oriented environment.
· Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
· Previous experience in a beach or hospitality role is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $18.00 per hour
