Primary Purpose:
Support the administration, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the district's student information systems and related applications. Collaborate with campus and district staff to ensure accurate student data, reliable system performance, and efficient business processes. Provide technical support, system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, training, documentation, and user support for student information systems and related applications.
Qualifications:
Education and Certification

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, education, computer science, or a related field (preferred)
Experience
-
Two (2) years of experience supporting software applications, student information systems, educational technology systems, or related field
-
Experience supporting education-specific enterprise information systems, including PowerSchool applications such as eSchoolPLUS and PowerSchool Enrollment (preferred)

Experience supporting Home Access Center (HAC), Laserfiche, TREx, Cognos reporting, or similar systems (preferred)
-
Experience in a K-12 educational or public-sector environment (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:
Student Information System Administration
-
Perform system setup and configuration tasks for eSchoolPLUS and PowerSchool Enrollment
-
Monitor and support data accuracy and integrity within student information systems and related applications
-
Assist with system preparation for annual rollovers, enrollment periods, and district initiatives
-
Support the implementation and maintenance of student information system (SIS) processes and procedures
-
Follow established system access, data security, and change management procedures
Process Analysis, Testing, and Documentation
-
Collaborate with the SIS Architect to analyze business processes and support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of student information systems
-
Support testing of new processes, system enhancements, and software updates
-
Validate functionality and usability of new processes before deployment

Document procedures, process changes, and system updates
Training and User Support

Collaborate with the SIS team to develop training agendas for campus and district staff

Develop and maintain training materials, reference guides, and support documentation
-
Provide technical support and guidance to district staff regarding student information system processes and procedures

Assist with the delivery of training sessions
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution

Identify, research, and resolve issues involving student information, registration and enrollment, family access, records management, reporting, cumulative records, and related processes
-
Troubleshoot supported applications, including eSchoolPLUS, PowerSchool Enrollment, Laserfiche, Home Access Center (HAC), Texas Records Exchange (TREx), Cognos, and related systems

Escalate unresolved issues through appropriate channels and assist with vendor communications as needed

Monitor support requests and provide timely response, resolution, or escalation
