About the role:
We're a growing tree service company, and we need someone to run the office full-time. This is a hands-on operations role, not a traditional front-desk position — you'll own scheduling, customer communication, basic bookkeeping, and day-to-day systems that keep two crews running smoothly.
What you'll do:
- Answer calls and screen incoming leads; schedule estimates
- Send, update, and follow up on estimates using our CRM
- Generate and resend invoices; light accounts receivable follow-up
- Handle accounts payable issues as they come up (most vendors are on autopay)
- Schedule jobs and coordinate with crews
- Track equipment/inventory at end of day
- Maintain our online review platform (light AI-assisted tool, mostly monitoring)
- Support hiring: review applications against a set list of qualifying questions, schedule interviews, coordinate candidate communication
- Learn our CRM system (training provided — live chat/support available for troubleshooting)
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience managing repetitive operational tasks independently — bookkeeping, dispatch, scheduling, or similar back-office work (trades, construction, landscaping, or service-industry experience is a strong plus)
- Comfortable learning new software systems (CRM training provided)
- Strong follow-through without close supervision — you catch and fix small issues before they become problems
- Clear, professional phone and written communication
- Reliable, on-time, full-time availability

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
