Overview
Looking for In Home Caregiver for our Mom. Free room and board, food, internet. Room has private entrance and bathroom. In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support.
Responsibilities
- Assist Mom with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor Mom's health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking
- Administer medications safely following prescribed care plans and medication schedules
- Support Mom in engaging in social activities and community outings to promote mental stimulation and socialization
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and update personalized care plans for each client
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a trusting relationship built on respect and empathy
- Follow all safety protocols including CPR, first aid, dementia care techniques, Alzheimer’s care strategies, memory care practices, hospice care procedures, and working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
Skills
- Proven experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes or group homes preferred
- Strong knowledge of patient observation, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and patient monitoring techniques
- Ability to perform lifting safely
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams (English preferred)
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to improve clients’ quality of life through direct support and caregiving
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $525.00 per week
