We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal offerings.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
- Handle food safely, following proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages as needed.
- Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high standards of presentation and service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in fine dining or catering settings.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.
- Experience with menu planning is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
