What You’ll Do:
- Provide expert nursing care for adult and geriatric patients within the PCU setting
- Manage patients undergoing burns, reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial procedures
- Perform specialized procedures including burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
- Document patient status accurately using EPIC system
- Administer medications through Pyxis medication system
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Adapt to floating within Ohio State University (OSU) as needed
What You Need:
- Valid Ohio RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent PCU experience
- Experience with similar patient populations preferred
- Previous charge nurse and teaching hospital experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including every other/third weekend
