Estimator-Sales Manager: (willing to provide some training)
AREGA Contracting/Monarch Tile & Floors is looking for an Estimator-Sales Manager who would market, sell, respond to Request for Quotes, establish long-term relationships and manage our services to the following potential groups/sectors: Commercial, Construction/GCs & Professionals, New Constructions & Renovations, Federal & Local Government & Community and Residential Projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Achieving targeted sale goals monthly/Quarterly
- Prepare proposals based on takeoffs
- Lead and manage all sales and marketing efforts, campaigns and initiatives – both online and offline – to reach our monthly sales goals, including all sectors above
- Develop and implement marketing strategies designed to increase sales and market share, sale goals levels, and brand awareness locally and regionally
- Working in coordination with the owner in researching market trends, supporting contracting opportunities, competition and coordinating all efforts to establish long-term and beneficial business relationships
- Develop and implement mutually agreed upon monthly performance reporting for the owner, including budget-actual reporting, pricing, marketing program analysis (including incentive programs), 3rd Party vendor/subcontractor performance, etc.
- Seek out and constantly bid for commercial and residential jobs
- Conduct the initial visit with prospective customers to analyze project scope
- Provide expertise feedback to prospective customers
- Provide a written report on the scope of work to the office and prepare accurate quotes for prospective customers
- Supervise other projects that may be scheduled at the same
- Seek and coordinate work with other subcontractors, when needed
- Coordinate all the required permits and documentation necessary for the completion of each project
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms in coordination with owner
- Oversee and co-manage multiple contracts or projects successfully from inception to completion
- Schedule, rent, purchase and pick up material, tools and equipment within company budget for different projects, when required
- Seek and establish lasting relationships with subcontractors, manage and/or supervise onsite crews or subcontractors
- Manage and ensure quality control on the jobsites
- Ensure all of our processes are of the highest standards and that we are in compliance with all government and clients' requirements
- Travel throughout different jobsites or to clients' meetings in the DC Metro area
- Manage and work with any estimating software used now or in the future and AI tools to manage timelines, documents, and team communication (when time comes)
- Ensure projects meet timelines, budget goals, and quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, architectural plans, and scopes of work
- Track progress, hold crews accountable, and troubleshoot issues in real time
- Maintain clear client communication and high job-site standards
- Work on weekends, if necessary/when required
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience with project management and estimating
- Proficiency in blueprint reading/interpretation--plans-CAD
- Must have some general knowledge and/or experience in general tile and flooring installation
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to details
- Available to work 40-50 hours a week
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time, if required
- Experience with estimating and project management
- General knowledge with construction codes and OSHA regulations and compliance
- Proven record of timely project completion
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently as well as in a team
- Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions/directions
- Must have a problem-solver mindset
- Professional emailing and phone etiquette
- Sales and negotiation experience
- Experience in the use of PDF reader
- Extensive experience in takeoffs and estimating software

Salary and commission negotiable
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
