Responsibilities Include:
- Lead classroom instruction by following existing lesson plans
- Promptly assume duties of the regular classroom teacher in accordance with school rules
- Teach a variety of subjects as directed by the school’s lesson plans and Kelly policy
- Assign reasonable tasks and homework according to school guidelines
- Create a classroom environment that promotes learning and fits the maturity and interests of students
- Adapt to students' individual learning styles
- For long-term assignments: may be needed to develop lesson plans, devise and administer tests and assignments, and grade student work
Requirements:
- High School diploma | equivalent (Substitute Teacher Assistant)
- 60 completed college credits OR an AA degree (Substitute Teacher)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to work 1 Monday & 1 Friday each month
- Must work 5 assignments within first 30 days of employment
