We are looking for a Lead Automotive Technician to join an exciting close knit team. This is a hands-on role—not a desk job. You will actively perform repairs, take on advanced diag, and support other technicians with difficult or complex issues. This position requires a high level of skill, diagnostics, and the ability to assist other technicians in diagnostics while still turning wrenches every day. This is not a management role.
We are a well-established, 3rd-generation, family-owned mechanic shop here in the Lowcountry. We take our commitment to our employees and customers seriously and always strive to provide the highest level of service.
What makes this a great place to work:
- Balanced schedule: Monday–Friday, 8–5 — no weekends, no burnout.
- Stable, steady workflow: Retail and fleet customers keep a consistent backlog. In over 15 years, we've never had to tell our technicians that business is slow.
- Great culture: A close-knit team environment with a paid company vacation every year.
- No customer interaction required: You focus on the work, not the front counter.
What we’re looking for:
- A highly skilled, experienced automotive technician
- Strong diagnostic ability, including electrical and drivability
- Capable of performing a full spectrum of repairs, from general maintenance to engine and transmission replacements
- A natural leader who can guide, train, and support other technicians
- Someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and teamwork
If you’re a top-level technician looking to step into a team role without giving up the hands-on work, this is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term, stable career with a team that values you!
