Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
The work schedule for this position will require flexibility for training and shift coverage. There are two positions: one AM shift and one PM shift
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Assist in laundry duties as needed, ensuring linens are cleaned and properly stored.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the hospitality environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial services or housekeeping management is preferred.
- Background in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
