Job Summary:
CC Junk Removal & Hauling is hiring a Sales & Operations Team Lead to help run day to day field operations while driving revenue and delivering a high level customer experience. This role is responsible for leading a junk removal crew, managing routes and job flow, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, handling customer communication, and helping close sales opportunities through estimates, upsells, and strong on site service and relationship building.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with strong sales skills and who can keep a crew moving efficiently, solve problems in real time, hold team members accountable, and represent the company professionally with clients. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable with sales, and able to balance operations, customer service, and team management in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily junk removal, cleanout, and light demolition jobs from start to finish while working full-time in the truck alongside the crew
- Drive daily sales performance in the field by identifying upsell opportunities, increasing ticket size, and helping hit company revenue goals
- Serve as the lead point person on job sites by communicating with customers, confirming scope of work, handling change orders, and delivering a strong customer experience
- Use the company CRM/software daily to manage estimates, invoices, scheduling, payment collection, customer communication, and job updates
- Answer incoming phone calls and text messages from customers in a professional and timely manner and help convert quotes into paying jobs
- Send estimates, follow up with leads, and help close new business through strong communication, urgency, and sales ability
- Manage the day’s route, job flow, and crew execution to keep jobs on time, maximize truck efficiency, and protect profitability
- Supervise, motivate, and hold team members accountable for pace, professionalism, work quality, and adherence to company standards
- Train crew members on proper lifting, loading, truck and trailer organization, customer interaction, and safe work practices
- Make real-time decisions in the field when jobs change, access is difficult, customers add work, or unexpected issues come up
- Ensure trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment are kept organized, loaded properly, and maintained in clean working order
- Collect payments, complete invoices, upload job photos and notes, and make sure all job information is properly documented in the CRM
- Coordinate with ownership on scheduling, customer issues, crew performance, sales performance, and day-to-day operational needs
- Help protect company profitability by minimizing wasted time, inefficient routing, avoidable damage, fuel waste, and poor load management
- Set the tone for the team through urgency, leadership, accountability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic

- Proven sales ability with confidence upselling services, closing jobs, increasing ticket size, and communicating value to customers
- Excellent customer service and communication skills over the phone, by text, and in person with the ability to build trust quickly and represent the company professionally
- Comfortable using CRM and business software to schedule jobs, send estimates, collect payments, manage invoices, and keep customer/job information organized
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage a route, prioritize jobs, and keep the day running efficiently
- Ability to problem-solve in real time and make smart decisions under pressure when jobs change, customers add work, or challenges come up in the field
- High level of ownership and accountability with the mindset to treat the business like it matters, not just punch a clock
- Ability to motivate a crew and maintain standards for urgency, professionalism, safety, and quality of work
- Strong attention to operational efficiency and profitability, including route flow, load management, time management, and minimizing wasted labor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment while staying composed, productive, and customer-focused
- Solid conflict resolution and people skills when dealing with customers, crew issues, schedule changes, or job-site challenges
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt as systems, expectations, and responsibilities evolve with the growth of the company
- Comfortable taking initiative without needing constant direction and able to spot problems before they become expensive
- Basic understanding of estimating, pricing, or service-based sales is a strong plus

Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with physical work and outdoor conditions
- Comfortable using software/CRM, smartphone apps, texting, invoicing, and scheduling tools
- Proven ability to lead, take initiative, stay organized, and solve problems under pressure
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift heavy items and work at a fast pace throughout the day
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading a crew or managing field operations
- Sales, estimating, or upselling experience
- Experience in junk removal, moving, logistics, home services, construction, or a similar industry
- Experience driving a truck and trailer
- Experience using CRM software, collecting payments, sending estimates, and handling customer communication
Compensation/Pay Structure
This role is ranging from $26-$30 per hour based off of experience, leadership abilty and overall fit. Additional performance based bonus oppurtunites are available for strong execution, sales contribution, and helping the team hit company goals.
