Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and clinical evaluations utilizing EMR/EHR systems and adhering to clinical documentation standards.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations, including ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding where applicable, ensuring alignment with best practices and ethical guidelines.
- Provide individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols to support clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.
- Engage in case management activities to coordinate care with other healthcare providers, social workers, educators, and support systems for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation including treatment notes, progress reports, medical records, and patient assessments in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in ongoing research initiatives or clinical research projects to enhance therapeutic practices and stay current with advancements in mental health care.
Skills
- Extensive experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and behavior management.
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques for enhancing client engagement and motivation for change.
- Strong background working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, and pediatrics.
- Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9) for accurate diagnosis documentation; familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Experience delivering telehealth therapy services using secure platforms while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Ability to perform mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations efficiently across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Skilled in crisis management strategies for managing acute behavioral or emotional crises effectively.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health conditions and treatment planning processes.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction as well as collaboration with multidisciplinary teams involved in patient care.

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
