Duties
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including smoothies, juices, and specialty drinks using professional equipment.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders with enthusiasm, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the juice bar area, including food handling and sanitation standards.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities by processing cash transactions with accuracy and accountability.
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food preparation and beverage service to uphold health standards.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and supporting food industry best practices.
Experience
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with café environments is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to handle retail sales transactions using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros.
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to engaging guests and enhancing their experience.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures, food handling standards, and beverage preparation techniques.
- Experience with coffee or beverage service is advantageous; familiarity with food industry operations is beneficial.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
