Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to transforming lives through evidence-based behavioral interventions. As an RBT, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, providing tailored behavioral therapy that promotes meaningful progress. Your role will be essential in implementing treatment plans, collecting data, and supporting clients in various settings, including home-based environments and schools.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on approved treatment protocols, including ABA therapy techniques for children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and skill development in areas such as communication, socialization, and self-care.
- Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
- Support clients in managing behaviors through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards.
- Communicate regularly with clients’ families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistency of care and share progress updates.
- Follow ethical guidelines outlined by the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts to ensure high-quality, respectful care at all times.
Skills
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management, and implementing ABA therapy protocols.
- Proficiency in data collection methods related to behavioral health and medical documentation practices.
- Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in achieving functional independence.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement.
- Home-based behavioral experience or school experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.

Pay: $22.00 - $32.78 per hour
