About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide hands-on support, encouragement, and advocacy. You’ll help individuals develop life skills, participate in their communities, and reach personal goals — all within a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
This is relationship-based, mission-driven work where what you do each day truly matters.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, house cleaning and medication administration
- Support participation in community activities, appointments, and social engagement
- Teach and reinforce life skills that promote independence and confidence
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all safety and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with supervisors, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality services
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
- Professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills
- Minimum age of 18 (21+ with a valid Arizona driver’s license for driving roles)
- Ability to pass required background checks, fingerprint clearance, and trainings
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
