Responsibilities
- Actively engage in outside sales efforts by reaching out to potential clients through cold calling.
- Demonstrate vehicles’ features and benefits confidently during client meetings, test drives.
- Negotiate terms of sale, including pricing, financing options, trade-ins, and upselling additional products or services to maximize deal value.
- Manage customer relationships through effective communication, CRM software utilization, and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Support inventory management by coordinating with sales support teams to maintain accurate stock levels and assist with inventory control processes.
- Close deals efficiently by applying retail math skills, organizational skills, and persuasive sales negotiation techniques aligned with achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries via outbound calls or customer outreach, ensuring clear communication and positive client interactions.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive industry sales or retail sales environments with a strong track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
- Demonstrated expertise in outside sales strategies including cold calling, B2B sales, and outbound outreach efforts.
- Strong negotiation skills with a history of closing high-end vehicle deals while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline using CRM systems supported by technical tools for customer relationship management.
- Familiarity with automotive financing options, inventory management systems, and dealership operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages are a plus; bilingual abilities can enhance client interactions across diverse markets.
- Organizational skills coupled with retail math proficiency are essential for tracking leads, managing client data, and supporting effective inventory control.
