Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other necessary tools efficiently and safely
- Ensure all food handling and preparation follow strict food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain hygiene standards
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties and toppings based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Maintain high-volume production levels during peak hours while ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Support food production tasks including braising, poaching, grilling, and food assembly for both dine-in and catering orders
- Follow food safety management protocols diligently to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in dietary aide roles or food service positions is highly desirable
- Proven culinary experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and knife skills
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with food safety sanitizing procedures, recipe adherence, and meal preparation standards
- Background in catering or large-scale food production enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
