JOB SUMMARY
Assesses, plans and implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPN’s and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent L&D/Postpartum/ and Mother Baby RN experience in a hospital.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP and STABLE required.
- Scrub & Circulator Experience.
- Must be willing to float to other campuses.
PREFERRED
- Two or more years of previous experience working on an obstetrics unit.
- STABLE & AWHONN preferred.
- Charting: Epic is preferred but not required.
Summary:
- 13 week contract
- Guaranteed per week.
- $45/hr with stipend or $60/hr no stipend
