We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Truck Driver Recruiter to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a key part in sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified commercial truck drivers to support our growing fleet. Key Responsibilities
- Source and recruit experienced CDL drivers through job boards, social media, referrals, trucking networks, and cold calling.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone and in-person interviews, and verify qualifications (CDL, driving records, experience, etc.).
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of driver candidates.
- Coordinate with operations to understand current and future staffing needs.
- Attend job fairs, trucking events, and industry networking opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system.
- Assist with onboarding and driver retention initiatives.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations (FMCSA, DOT), and competitive pay/benefits.
Requirements
- 1+ years of recruiting experience (trucking or transportation industry preferred).
- Strong understanding of CDL requirements, driver qualifications, and the trucking industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet recruitment targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with recruiting platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL knowledge a big plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
