Legends Pharmacy is seeking a PRN Staff Pharmacist to join our growing closed-door long-term care pharmacy in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role is ideal for pharmacists who enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while maintaining the flexibility of an as-needed schedule.

What You'll Do
As a PRN Staff Pharmacist, you will:
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Provide clinical oversight and support to pharmacy technicians
- Answer medication-related questions from nursing staff and facility partners
- Ensure compliance with DEA, New Mexico Board of Pharmacy, state, and federal regulations
- Support inventory management and controlled substance accountability
- Assist with workflow during high-volume processing periods
- Maintain accurate documentation while delivering exceptional service to our long-term care partners
Qualifications
- Active New Mexico Pharmacist License (Required)
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Long-term care, hospital, institutional, retail, or other high-volume pharmacy experience welcomed
- Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
Availability
This is a PRN (as-needed) position. Hours are not guaranteed and are scheduled based on operational needs.
Coverage opportunities may include:
- Pharmacist-in-Charge call-offs
- Planned PTO and vacation coverage
- Temporary staffing needs
- Additional operational support during periods of increased workload
PRN pharmacists will be contacted as coverage needs arise.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
- Opportunity to pick up additional shifts as available

Pay: From $65.00 per hour

- Do you currently hold an active New Mexico Pharmacist license, or are you eligible to obtain one before your start date?
- This is a PRN (as-needed) position. Coverage may be requested for Pharmacist-in-Charge call-offs, planned PTO, and other operational needs. Are you able to accept shifts on an as-needed basis?
- Are you able to respond to and accept PRN shift requests with short notice when coverage is needed?
