This is a hands-on role within our manufacturing operation where you'll partner closely with Finance, Operations, and plant leadership to deliver accurate financial reporting, strengthen processes, and provide insights that help the business perform better every day.

What You'll Own
Financial Reporting & Business Support

Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and account reconciliations

Deliver accurate, timely reporting that supports business decision-making

Identify trends, variances, and areas for operational improvement

Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insight and support
Cost Accounting & Operational Finance

Support cost accounting activities, inventory valuation, and margin analysis

Monitor production costs and help identify opportunities for improved efficiency

Maintain inventory controls and ensure financial accuracy across operations

Partner with production and supply chain teams to improve inventory performance and reporting
Controls, Compliance & Process Improvement

Help maintain strong internal controls and compliance with company policies and GAAP

Support annual audits and coordinate documentation requests

Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability

Assist in developing and documenting accounting procedures and best practices
Working Capital & Financial Operations

Support cash flow management through accurate reporting and analysis

Partner with AR and AP teams to improve transaction processing and reporting accuracy

Monitor key financial metrics and provide recommendations for improvement
Team Collaboration & Development

Provide day-to-day guidance and support to accounting staff

Foster a collaborative, accountable, and team-oriented environment

Serve as a key partner to Finance and Operations teams across Midwest Filtration
What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
-
5–8 years of progressive accounting experience

Manufacturing, cost accounting, and inventory experience preferred

Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

ERP experience (Epicor preferred) and advanced Excel skills
-
A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach

Analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to communicate effectively with both accounting and operational teams
