We are currently seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based position serving students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. The Occupational Therapist identifies developmental delays, physical limitations, sensory-motor challenges, and functional deficits that may impact a student's ability to participate in educational activities. The OT evaluates student needs and develops individualized intervention plans designed to support educational access, independence, and overall student success.

Evaluate students for physical limitations, developmental delays, sensory-motor dysfunction, perceptual-motor abilities, self-help skills, functional living skills, and adaptive equipment needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and student goals.
- Interpret assessment results and recommendations to parents, teachers, students, and other members of the educational team.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop strategies that promote student participation and achievement within the school environment.
- Provide training and consultation to educational staff regarding therapy goals, accommodations, and interventions.
- Recommend, adapt, or fabricate equipment to support activities of daily living (ADLs), communication needs, classroom access, and individualized seating requirements.
- Monitor the use and effectiveness of prosthetics, orthotics, and other adaptive devices.
- Develop home programs and provide caregiver education when appropriate.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Attend district meetings, professional development activities, conferences, and workshops to maintain current clinical knowledge and best practices.
- Assist with mentoring and orientation of new staff members as needed.

Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program; OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy with at least ten years of progressive professional experience.

Current and active Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.

Previous pediatric and/or school-based Occupational Therapy experience.
- Knowledge of special education processes, IEPs, and educational service delivery models.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
