Our dental office in Towson, MD is looking for a sterlization tech/ dental assistant. Hours are Monday -Thursday 8am-5pm. Occasional fridays. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly individual who does well in a team oriented atmosphere. Dental Radiation Certification is preferred but we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety by providing chairside support.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage dental charts using Softdent system.
- Perform X-rays and assist with diagnostic imaging as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Sterilize instruments and clean operatories.
