The Role
As a Line Cook, you are the engine that keeps our restaurant moving. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating our menu items to exact specifications, ensuring every guest receives a high-quality, delicious meal. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in your station, you will fit right in.
What You Will Do
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to our recipes and quality standards.
- Cook menu items efficiently during high-volume rushes without sacrificing accuracy.
- Set up and stock your station with all necessary supplies before service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace throughout your shift.
- Strictly adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the Front of House (FOH) and BOH teams to ensure smooth ticket times.
- Assist with prep work, equipment cleaning, and breaking down the line at the end of the shift.
What We Are Looking For
- A strong work ethic and a sense of urgency—you know how to hustle when the tickets start printing.
- Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Solid knife skills and a basic understanding of cooking methods and kitchen equipment.
- A team-first mentality; you are willing to jump in and help out wherever needed.
- Physical stamina: the ability to stand for long periods, work in a hot environment, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- A valid food handler’s certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
