REGIONAL SALE/SERVICE MANAGER – On-Highway - Mechanical/Technical/Sales
DAVCO Technology, the North American leader in diesel fuel-heater/water separators and filter systems seeks a full-time REGIONAL SALES/SERVICE MANAGER. The right candidate must have strong "hands-on" mechanical background, (diesel experience preferred). This person will support the business by traveling extensively (up to 90%) and working independently for DAVCO in the Central, Mid-west and Mountain US region.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to travel, work independently and be flexible regarding frequent changes in schedule
- “Hands on" mechanical skills
- “Road Warrior”, extensive travel, up to 90%
- Excellent customer service and training skills
- Strong prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Four-Year Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent experience
- Prior Field Service Experience a plus
- Good written, verbal, organizational and communication skills
- Computer skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- CRM experience
- Experience with B2B sales in a manufacturing environment with engineered products
SUMMARY
Plan and implement sales and sales support of On-Highway products by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Call on On-Highway End Users, Dealers and OEMs
- Use prospecting tools like ZoomInfo to identify and follow-up with target customers
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customers
- Installing product on diesel equipment for evaluation ('Try and Buy')
- Respond immediately for service support to customer base
- Committed to Customer Satisfaction through exceptional follow-up
- Field diagnostics and conflict resolution are essential to address customer concerns in an honest, professional and courteous manner
- Take calls from OEMs, distributors, dealers and End Users, working directly with them to diagnose, repair and/or coordinate 'Try and Buy' installations and other services
- Maintain customer database including customer contacts and sales opportunities in CRM (Sales Force, Zoho, or similar)
- Regular, reliable, consistent and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated
- Meet all proactive calling targets as assigned in DAVCO’s “SHIFT” Commercial Excellence Program
- Budget minded
- General Understanding of how product costs are developed, profitability, and ROI
- Represents DAVCO at trade association meetings and open house events
- Extensive driving and travel up to 90% is required at times
- Overnight travel and/or evening / weekend work required in response to customer needs

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Four-Year Bachelor of Science; Business Degree or equivalent experience
- Sales and Customer Service experience required
- Quality experience
- Strong 'hands on' mechanical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Strong computer skills especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel and CRM
- Experience working in a team environment
- Experience working with large on-highway fleets, dealers and OEMs

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle or feel, talk and listen and the ability to use a multitude of tools to assemble complex components. May be required to stoop, kneel, crouch and/or climb. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 35+ pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Extensive driving and travel up to 90% is required at times. Overnight travel and/or evening / weekend work required in response to customer needs

COMPENSATION PACKAGE
Position includes base salary, annual bonus eligibility, paid time-off plans, comprehensive benefit/insurance plan, 401k plan with 4% match, 12 paid holidays and annual merit increase eligibility.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
