Duties
- Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company recipes and standard
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Ensure timely food preparation and delivery to minimize wait times in a fast-paced environment
- Restock supplies, organize ingredients, and assist with food storage to ensure smooth daily operations
- Support dishwashing duties and help maintain a tidy kitchen to promote a clean restaurant environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; culinary experience is a plus; but we will train.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- The ability to communicate clearly and positively with co-workers
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have or will get Alaska Food Worker Card
